4/10/12 ~ Tuesday was a very relaxing day with the girls in Turin. We woke up and I finished rereading Mockingjay before we headed over to the open market. Their market is totally different then the market that we have in Galway on Saturdays. First of all it is HUGE there are many more vendors and it feels like it is going forever when you are in it. The girls get most of their groceries here every week and it is a great experience. We bought fresh fruits and vegetables and a few other things (insert joke here about our purchases Megan, Juliann, and Me). There were also some stands that had probably a hundred different kind of cheeses and even some for meat. Megan and I also purchased a huge cornetti filled with chocolate to split while walking through the market. It was a little messy but oh so yummy!

After the market and some more sight seeing we headed back to the flat to make some guacamole, which is much better in Italy because the avocado gets ripe where in Ireland it takes days for them to get close enough to ripe for a good guacamole. We spent the afternoon relaxing and spending time with the girls. For dinner they made a delicious meal of cheezy-goodness-twice-baked-potatoes, baked chicken, and salad followed by colombo cake and gelato for desert.
